Before you read the PHOTOfrenz Privacy Policy set forth below, you may want to review the PHOTOfrenz Terms and Conditions (see Terms & Conditions).
PHOTOfrenz holds your privacy with great importance and takes specific steps to protect your personal information. PHOTOfrenz Privacy Policy (the Privacy) states how a Member’s information is being used by PHOTOfrenz with respect to the Member’s name, email address, mailing address, credit card information, submitted content and other demographic data provided by the Member in his/her account. While PHOTOfrenz needs such information to continuously improve and offer you valued-add services, PHOTOfrenz wants you to enjoy the Site’s services in a secure and private environment.
By accepting the PHOTOfrenz Terms and Conditions during your membership registration, you are bound by the terms of collection, use and disclosure of information willingly provided by you. PHOTOfrenz may update or change the Privacy from time to time, so do check back here periodically to get the most recent version. By continuing to access or use the Site’s services after the Privacy has been updated, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy.
The Privacy is governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Member’s Personal Information Collection |

A person who registers as a Member of the PHOTOfrenz website (the Site) needs to provide a valid name, correct email address and password to have a Member account created. This shall serve as the gateway for further use of the Site’s services such as storing, sharing and printing of photos. Depending on the particular service that you use, you may need to furnish specific customer information to allow PHOTOfrenz to fulfill the requested service, e.g. to order photo prints, a Member needs to provide shipping and billing information.
In general, the following information is needed from a Member if the typical Site’s services of storing, sharing and printing photos are being used:

In addition, a Member’s account has surveys and questions that request for Member’s demographic details, interests, and personal description. You are encouraged to provide the information requested so that PHOTOfrenz can tailor more personalized services for you to enhance your experience on the Site.
There may also be surveys, polls and campaigns organized by partnered sponsors or advertisers on the Site that request your personal information in order for you to participate in the events. If your personal information needs to be transmitted to the event owners, it will be expressly stated so that you can choose to participate or not.
Do note that you also provide information when you personalize your photos with captions, descriptions and keywords, or engage in exchange of comments with viewers on your photos.

Use of Member’s Information |

PHOTOfrenz uses a Member’s information as part of the overall fulfillment of services that you request from the Site such as storing, sharing and printing photos. Some specific illustrations of how PHOTOfrenz uses your information are as follows:
- Your name, email address and password are used to create a Member account when you register as a Member. Your email address and password are used for authentication when you login to use the Site’s services.
- A recipient’s mailing address is used for shipping print orders to the recipient when you select mail delivery as a shipping option during your print order process.
- Your mailing address is used for sending flyers and other information to you for service updates, promotional offers, etc.
- Your email address is used for sending confirmations of print orders, notifications for print collections, notifications of latest developments on the Site, notifications of promotions & campaigns, responses to a Member’s enquiry, and other general announcements that may be of interest to you.
- Your credit card information is used for epayment when you order photo prints or photo gifts through the Site. However, the credit card information is discarded upon completion of a payment transaction (successful or otherwise), and is not retained by the Site for future use.
- Your contact phone number (if provided) is used for contacting you in the event that you win a free gift after you have ordered photo prints or photo gifts through the Site, or there is some urgent follow-up with you on your purchase orders.
- Your NRIC number is used for authenticating you when you collect the gift that you have won through the use of the Site’s services.
For special events or campaigns organized by third-party sponsors or advertisers, additional specific information may be requested in order for you to participate in the events. If your personal information needs to be transmitted to the event owners, it will be expressly stated so that you can choose to participate or not.

Disclosure of Member’s Information |

In the course of fulfilling your service requests on the Site, PHOTOfrenz will need to share your relevant information with its partners, sponsors or vendors:
- Partnered printing labs – for the purpose of processing your photo print orders, notification of order collection, authentication of recipient during self-collection, mail delivery of order, etc.
- Credit card companies – for the purpose of processing epayment of orders and billing.
- Partnered sponsors – for the purpose of authenticating the rightful winner in the event that you win a free gift and collects it at the sponsor’s venue.
- Partnered brands – for the purpose of facilitating brands to communicate with you if you participate in a joint campaign between PHOTOfrenz and the partnered brands.
- Third-party vendors – for the purpose of facilitating the third-party vendors to analyze sales data, traffic patterns and site content design.
- PHOTOfrenz employees – for the purpose of processing your print orders, collation of Members’ information, survey data, organization of photos, and general administration of the Site.
Depending on the types of services requested, different types of basic information are shared with the third parties above for the sole purpose of fulfilling your service requests and enhancing your experience on the Site.

Protecting Member’s Information |

PHOTOfrenz does not allow its partners, sponsors or third-party vendors direct access to your account information although some basic information needs to be shared to fulfill your service requests. PHOTOfrenz does not sell or rent your personal information or submitted content to any third party without your knowledge and consent, including advertisers.
An advertiser may work with PHOTOfrenz to communicate its ads to Members who meet its pre-defined criteria, but the advertiser does not have access to any Member’s account information.
If you do not wish to share your personal information with the partnered sponsors or advertisers at any point of time, please tell PHOTOfrenz that you do not wish to share it.
However, PHOTOfrenz is required by the governing law of the Republic of Singapore to disclose a Member’s personal information to the law enforcement agencies for the purpose of subpoena, search warrant or other legal processes even without the verbal or written consent of the Member.

Protecting Member’s Submitted Content |

While PHOTOfrenz provides a safe and secure environment for you to store and share your photos, you have full control over the privacy of your photos by setting your albums or photos as “Private”, “Shared” or “Public”.

Private: only you can view the photo(s)

Shared: only you and your friends in your “Friends’ List” can view the photo(s)

Public: anyone can view the photo(s)
When you invite friends to view your “Shared” or “Public” photos through email notification, the invitees are only able to view the album(s) that you have specifically shared with them. They are not able to view your other albums set as "Share" or "Private". They can view your albums that have been set to "Public" in the Public Photos section.
However, if an invitee forwards your email notification to other people, they will not be able to view your “Shared” photos unless they are in your “Friends’ List”.
Do note that the following parties may be able to view your photographs:
- Partnered printing labs – for the purpose of processing your photo print orders
- Third-party gift vendors – for the purpose of processing your photo gift orders
- PHOTOfrenz employees – for the purpose of processing your print orders, sampling audit of stored photos, and general administration of your account

Other Security Measures to Maintain Privacy |

PHOTOfrenz ensures that your account is password protected. It is your sole responsibility to restrict the password only to yourself. You may change your password regularly by editing it via your account.
You will need to be mindful to log out and close the browser upon finishing the use of the Site so that your account is password protected.
As part of PHOTOfrenz security measures, the Site employs SSL, IDS and firewalls to ensure that your personal information is always protected.

Contests, Polls and Campaigns |

Occasionally, PHOTOfrenz and its partnered sponsors or advertisers may invite Members to participate in contests, polls and campaigns to bring value to its Members. You may be exposed to relevant information via flyers, email, sms, etc.
You may choose to unsubscribe to any of the notifications and PHOTOfrenz will take you off the distribution list.
Furthermore, if your personal information needs to be transmitted to the event owners in order for you to participate in the events, it will be expressly stated so that you can choose to participate or not.
